Two of Punta Cana’s biggest adrenaline hits, one ticket.
You’ll take the wheel first: a 4×4 buggy through the Anamuya hills, guides covering the basics so nobody needs prior experience, with a river swim built in to cool off along the way. From there it’s straight to the ranch for the zipline – 12 lines, 18 platforms, speeds pushing 55 km/h on the fastest stretch, and a side-by-side cable where you and whoever you brought along can race each other down.
No filler, no downtime in between – just the two adventures people plan their Punta Cana trip around, stacked into a single day.
Two activities, two sets of requirements, and they are stricter than most people expect. The buggy driver has to be eighteen or over with a valid licence and at least a year of driving behind them. The zipline sets a minimum age of six, a weight range between 44 and 280 pounds, a maximum waist of 44 inches, and closed-toe shoes that cover the ankle. Flip-flops will not get you on the cable.
If you are travelling with children, the zipline is where the day splits: six to twelve year olds ride as far as line eight rather than completing the circuit. That is still most of the course, but it means the group finishes at different points, so agree a meeting spot before you start.
What to wear is simple enough. Something you can get muddy in, closed shoes, and a change of clothes waiting in the vehicle for the ride back. The river swim comes in the buggy half, so bring swimwear underneath if you plan to get in.
No licensed driver with you, or rather keep the day shorter? The Zipline Adventure also runs on its own – about 5 hours, with morning and afternoon departures.
